Writing

In writing we are presently working on our final project, mystery stories.  The students are completing their organizers and will soon put their thoughts into paragraphs and chapters.  We can't wait to read the finished products!!!

Mrs. Cottingim 

I graduated from Solon High School, a suburb of Cleveland, and received my education degree from Miami University.  I live on a farm with my husband Jay, and three boys, Jake, Josh, and Jared.  I enjoy teaching, spending time with my family, shopping, and hanging out with friends.  This is my 4th year at TVS, my 3rd year in 4th grade.  I previously taught at National Trail School before I took off 7 years to stay home with my children. 

Agendas

Your child will receive an agenda on the first day of school.  These are to be initialed each evening after you have checked that your son/daughter has completed all assignments.  These are also used for communication between teachers and parents.  If all agendas are signed, points will be awarded towards a class goal.
